The workshop “the Experimentor Mindset” was developed during a meeting in Sweden of C-IQ professionals. We use Carol Dweck's Growth Mindset® concept and Judith E. Glaser's Conversational Intelligence® framework.

Carol Dweck developed the concept of two mindsets: the growth mindset and the fixed mindset. The differences between these two mindsets can be traced back to the degree to which you believe that your capacities and skills are fixed and cannot be further developed.

The Conversational Intelligence® (C-IQ) framework combines insights from neurochemistry with research into the impact of words and language on our mindset.

From the Fundamentals of Attune, we have further developed these concepts in the workshop “the Experimentor Mindset”.

By experimenting with new behaviors you pave a path to the future. Although it is a helpful discipline to plan your path in advance, in reality, when you start taking steps, things usually go differently. You realize that transformation comes step by step Living systems will never cease to amaze us and that is why it is so important that we attune to the feeling and the main issues that touch the heart at every step.

During the workshop, participants experience the power of the Experimentor Mindset, such as:

  • shifting from a “resistor” position (when there is distrust and no connection in the relationship) to an “experimentor” mindset (when there is trust and connection in the relationship);
  • neuro-insights that train a positive mindset of the brain;
  • the insight and experience that failure and the courage to demonstrate vulnerability are necessary to grow personal leadership. The workshop puts a positive spin on failure.

Participants reflect together on their experiences with the different mindsets and make them one personal action plan.

Make an appointment here if you want to take the first step for a non-binding conversation about the program and the quote. We will then discuss what the “Experimentor Mindset” workshop might look like for your team and organization.
